Sims 3: Ambition = No text appears

I downloaded Ambitions and it installed fine, but when i opened the game no text related to ambitions appear. I tried uninstalling , restarting then installing again for almost 5 times but with the same result. There just isnt any text appearing, and now when I reinstall ambitions the shortcut in my desktop doesnt have an icon anymore. please help!. .

Did you try this:


1. Uninstall all The Sims 3 games.
2. Restart PC.
3. Reinstall all.

Yeah, I did that, but same results. and i did that TWICE. please help.

Are you sure you uninstall áll The Sims 3 games? (Including all expansions; EVERYTHING)

YEp, the only expansion I have is ambitions, and here's the glitch.
I was able to make it work earlier by uninstalling everythin INCLUDING custom content, saved gamed and etc. I reinstalled it and then it worked, so i went and re-installed the custom content then after that it didnt work again, I know it's a glitch with the CC. but I dont know what AND what to do. please help.

Do you uninstall sims 3 ?

Never mind. I somehow made it to work. There was a glitch with a cc patch I downloaded and I had to check one by one my CC. And I finally found it, turns out it was the patch "DIFFERENT JOB NAMES". Now it works great. thanks so much for the download and help!
