Sims 3 torrenting problems

So im not new to torrenting in general, but i normally get confused when you have to crack things yourself (or atleast drag and drop specific things) so im torrenting the complete sims 3 and i did the thing you have to drag and drop into from the crack to the bin, but the launcher asks for a registration code, did i mess something up or what?

There are various complete sims-3 torrents on the internet.
Most of them do not require a registration nor a crack.
The G4TW version is completely different from the, what I call, 1-click installations as you have to install each and every DLC (21x).

So what version are you using ?
