Sims 4 - installing expansion packs.

Hi!
A friend of mine asked me if i could help her install some of the expansion packs for sims 4.
But she already have the main game, Paid on Origin for install, no CDs.
Is it possible to install the other expansions packs onto a paid version of the main game? or should i uninstall it completely, if so, will there be some files that is left after the uninstalling that is left that should be deleted?

And just realised that i have never installed the games from here on a mac, does it even work for mac? ;P

Yes, you can but it is not advisable.
Better also install G4TW base game as well and keep it in a seperate directory.
Via the original game you can still use the Gallery.

Note that as of now we cannot give any 'official' support on The Sims 4 + Mac OS. However, maybe the guide here from @amxlia21 can help you?
