ZLOrigin made simple - comments.

Thanks for this simplified version @tarac. I'm still a bit confused as to how updates will work alongside a legit game? If I'm understanding correctly, updating the game through legit Origin, will cause the ZlOrigin DLC to corrupt? Is there a way this can be avoided?

Do I have to stay connected while playing the game? Will the game force-close if my internet disconnects while in the game? Thanks for the post

Once the game has started you don't need a connection anymore.

When you let the real Origin update a ZLOrigin game, you'll loose all NON BOUGHT expansions. At least that's what happened to me.

So basically I'm stuck with the version I'm at now? I rather not reinstall all the DLC from ZLOrigin every time the game needs an update. 

**Edit: The update via ZLOrigin also updated the Legit game, so that's quite handy. Hypothetically, if ZLOrigin takes a while to release updates/DLC, would I be able to simply move the game install files (of the Non-legal DLC) to a temporary folder, and keep it separate from the OWNED items in order to update via Origin?

Just go ahead.
I've ran all ZLOrigin and Zclient through various anti-virus programms.
Norton makes problems, but that is typical Norton, when you always cry wolf.

It's a false-positive, there is no real virus in there.

This warning comes from windows defender. Have no other Virus program installed. Thanks for info though

My Windows Defender gives no warning

Weird. I had to confirm three times that I am prepared to take the "risk" before it actually went into my download's folder

When it's available you'll notice it in ZLOrigin.
There won't be a separate link for this download.

I get this error message ZUpdater is to old download new from zloemu.org what must I do

Zclient wont open and I keep getting the "critical error" even though i move the original origin games folder. I have no clue what to do please help

Are you guys will update the Sims 4 parenthood pack sooner then the crack groups ?

I've tried, moving The Sims 4 folder
Uninstalling my original origin app 
Getting rid of the original origin 

I keep getting the error that I'm not online or some crap help?

Make sure you download ZLOrigin and Zclient and make an account and login to Zclient first.Once you log-in just open ZLOrigin and should be Ok plays Sims 4 after

NEVERMIND! Actually I saw your reply to somebody else in another thread and used that solution so everything is downloading now  

I'm so excited for parenthood so I panicked when things weren't working haha.

i know how you feel. i'm gappy that everything work fine for you   just to let you know Parenthood release official tomorrow but it may take some time for ZLOrigin to release Parenthood  at least we can play with lastest update and pack better than nothing and its free !

wait, is this legit, and no problems from this sims version, i dont want to go through the whole process of downloading another version of sims that doesnt work and isnt legit, anyone other than the uploader can verify?

also, reading from comments, i cant play even im offline?, sometimes i dont have wifi, and it will suck if i cant play when i have a version from G4TW that doesnt have that problem and they have a legit forum and a bunch of supporters that can help if an issue comes up,

Hi guess what! New problem. When I try to play the game it says that Origin isn't running. I don't know what to do now lol.

I tried to download a new update on ZlOrigin but it always failed to download and getting an error message said check your connection or try again later but my internet working just fine. Is there any solution for this problem

ZlOrigin is a little strange. But once you find out how to use it, then it's rather easy.

I first installed it on my old computer with Windows 7, which I only use to test things out. It didn't work until I didn't install Origin(but disabled most things, so that it was just on the computer and didn't do anything else by itself). Before that it gave me the same "Origin is not running error"

However, when I installed it on my laptop, which has Windows 10, it installed flawlessly and I could use it by itself, without having to download Origin.
