The Sims 3 installing problem - 'This file cannot be opened'

Hi All,
I've been trying to install The Sims 3 (Complete collection downloaded from here) for my MacBook Pro. I followed the guide but when I reach part 3 (installing expansion packs and base game), I click on the .dmg file and then on the installer, an error message pops up: 'This file cannot be opened'.
Could you please advise what the problem might be?
