different origin error

When i try to open TS4 i get an error saying the program origin.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. then the same thing with ts4 needing to close.
I had to change my video setting due to being on high sierra and ive recently installed dlc. Where have i gone wrong?
Ive fully updated the game and i dont even have origin on my mac.
