Video card help!!!

i need to get a new video card for my pc and i need some help at picking the right one that will work with my hp computer windows 10 right now i have a nividia video card not sure of the details of it since i can't get my monitor to have signal to my desktop i don't have the manual to my computer anymore.

What model is your HP computer? Is the graphics card separate or integrated?

idk what do you mean i am tired and need to head to bed but i know its  NIVDIA video card like i said my monitor isn't getting signal with the main cable or the vga so i can't just turn it on and tell you what my specs are i know its a hp with 2gb separate hard drives both internal

Have you tried to connect another monitor (brother/sister/parents/friends) ?

Also, since Cats & Dogs the Sims 4 requires at least 4 GB of RAM

I don’t have anyone else that has a computer where  I live so I think I just need to do the video card I have not tried my tv they all have laptops

i just looked up my pc (yes i couldn't sleep)  so i found out that it is integrated supports pci express X16 graphic cards it gives me a list that is supported with my desktop i just need to pick the right one so it will work with my sims  yes i am going kind of crazy not playing sims i have sims castaway  but its not the same. what else do you need cause i got my information !!
