The Sims 3 store items and worlds question Empty The Sims 3 store items and worlds question

Post by Guest Thu 20 Sep 2018, 12:18

Hi guys, I'm having trouble with these files that The Sim Architect provided. I've downloaded the files shown on the picture below but I don't know where to put them. Can anyone teach me where to put the files 1 by 1? I know you're supposed to put it somewhere in Electronic arts folder but I don't know where exactly. I hope you can guide me, thank you!

Hello again,

The location is C:\Users\(your Windows account username)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods. A guide on how to set up that "mod framework" can be found here for example:
https://goo.gl/eZJIYp

I don't know how exactly Sim Architect set up his store collection, but the 5 big .package files go under C:\Users\(your Windows account username)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages.

Any .sims3pack files there need to be installed with the launcher or CC Magic.

Store fixes should be the same as on G4TW; the ccmerged.package goes under C:\Users\(your Windows account username)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\DCBackup (replace existing ccmerged.package file). The rest of the store fixes goes under the Mods/Packages location.

Buildings should go under C:\Users\(your Windows account username)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Library.

Didn't Sim Architect provide instructions for all that, though...? If you installed the Mod framework as mentioned initially, you should have the most important folders set up.
