Kitchen counter corners colours.
Hello,
Recently I got back in to Sims 3 and installed g4tw store items problem is when ever I use a store counter and make a corner it resets itself to thye first option and is unable to use the colour tool on it.
I tried googling it and the problem seems to be the fact that it's a package file, are there any solutions to it?
Thanks.

Re: Kitchen counter corners colours.
Hello,
Have you tried using the "moveobjects on" cheat, when placing down these counters, and then see if the colors "merge" properly? That could be one possible solution. Also, does that happen with all counters, or only with some?
I vaguely recall someone once posted about it here, let me see if I can search the thread.
//EDIT
Here:
https://www.games4theworld.club/t30515-corner-counter-fix?highlight=kitchen+counter
So apparently this is or could be a glitch relating to the G4TW Store items provided in .package file format. The user suggested re-downloading .sims3pack versions of kitchen-related items, and going from there.
We were also going to work on an updated/fixed version of The Sims 3 store, but I can't really give an ETA on that.
Good luck!

Re: Kitchen counter corners colours.
Yes Sim3packs fixed the problem, problem is that I have a lot of loose files so it will make my game load slower.
I will wait for a update on the sims store.
Thanks for the help

Can't seem to find how to update my post but also forgot to say that if I download the counters on loose files I would be having doubles in game and don't know if there is a way to delete them for the merged package files.

I wonder what causes the issue with the .package files in the first place, but you're welcome still.
If you know what you're looking for in the .package files (I, for certain, don't ), you can use something like S3PE - "Sims 3 Package Editor" - to modify the contents. But again, most people aren't going to know what exactly to delete. And yes, you'll have duplicates, but I think that if it's just for these counters, it should still be bearable. For the moment, installing a few extra .sims3packs seems to be a decent compromise and interim solution.

Re: Kitchen counter corners colours.
It are all the cc/store counters and a lot off counters aren't available separately.
But I still had some sim points on my account as a bonus of some sort apparently so just bought the haute hacienda counters since they are my favorite.
Thanks!
