Unable to start: game data missing or damaged [de4ee14f:29f00e76:00000000:4b0d852b].
If you get an error like this here:
1) Go under Documents\Electronic Arts and rename your folder "The Sims 4". Try running the game again after doing so. Is it working? If so, then the problem was with one of your mods or cahce files. Try inserting your mods slowly back into the freshly-generated folder "The Sims 4" and keep testing your game that way until you find the culprit.
2) More commonly though, you will have to familiarize yourselves with editing folder permissions. The topic linked to was originally written in the context of The Sims 3, but you can apply the procedure to almost any folder. Once you familiarized yourselves with the procedure, please apply it to your folder Documents => Electronic Arts => The Sims 4, and then try the game again.
3) If it still does not work try creating a NEW Windows user account, then install/play The Sims 4 from there, or at least try doing so. A more extreme measure could also be to go to the lengths of using the hidden Admin account, which I don't recommend though, unless you know what you are doing!
Note that on occasion, the error can also come up like this here:
That should do for now, good luck!
