Hi Every One,
Here is my problem : so i recently installed my The Sims 3 with all the expansions ( HELS- Shoetime) , and i look at google for cheats
and i saw a hack that could disable the censor and i installed it , so then when i'm trying toplay that writting appears 'Service Initialization Failed (0x024e424f)' so, could anyone tell me how to fix it ?

Remember that patience is the key to success, and bumping is frowned upon on this forum Wink

I think that the mod you're using is outdated, simply remove it for now and try your game. If the error is gone, it was indeed the mod and you'll have to find a version that is compatible with your current game version.
I'd assume there's a 1.33 version of this mod available.

It's a copy paste mod , so could you tell me how to disable it? Very Happy

(I replace the Shaders_Win32.precomp file with another of it's kind and then it happend) or, is it possible to uninstall and re-instaall just the base game without Uninstall and re-installing all the expansion? if yes i will just back up my saves and uninstall and reinstall my Base game

The "no censor" patch shouldn't require you to replace anything... you got the bad end of a joke if that's the case. If you saved the file you replaced somewhere, just re-replace it. If not... then oops. Removing the censor (when they're showering or whatever) is an annoying process, especially if you don't want them looking like barbie dolls, but it's fairly simple, and once you get your error sorted, I'd be happy to walk you through the process, whether you're Mac or PC.

Hello,

I'm not sure that will fix the issue. But it is possible to uninstall and reinstall just the base game, just remember to restart your pc between uninstalling and reinstalling.
