Cyberlink youCam does not work anymore. [SOLVED]

Hello!

So here is my problem. I haven't used Cyberlink Youcam for a while and now that I am trying to use it, it does not work anymore. But I can use skype without any camera problem, so I guess my webcam is not the problem itself. Maybe I should download a new version of CyberLink Youcam on the internet but I am a bit reluctant about it. Everytime I click on the SetUp, I got this message: CyberLink YouCam stopped working...

Furthermore, when I connect to Skype, the person I am talking to cannot hear me anymore...

What can I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated =)

What is YouCam used for?

I finally managed to fix the problem with Cyber Link. This a program to make pics through your webcam and it was installed on my pc when I bought it. So, first problem fixed However I still have a big issue with the micro. Nobody can hear me on skype and MSN I checked the Skype sound settings and it should work seen the fact that I put the microphone setting its maximum height. But it does not work.

Do you have a "Realtek audio" icon?

this icon usedused to be there! there is no Realtek audio icon anymore!

After the downloading finished, open it, install it and then restart your PC.
The icon should be back now. Try to tweak it and see if you can find out what's causing the mic issues.
