Installation Verification Failure.[SOLVED]

Hello,

I have almost all of the Sims 3 expansions and stuff packs installed. So naturally I wanted to try the new Showtime expansion and the Katy Perry stuff pack. My game worked just fine before I downloaded and installed these two. I patched them as by request of the setups. Now when I try to start the game, I get "Installation Verification Failure: The Sims 3 cannot run. The installation is incomplete. Please reinstall and try again."

So...
I disabled my mods in case that'd affect anything.
I uninstalled Showtime & Katy and reinstalled Showtime. Same message.
I reinstalled Katy. Same message.
I uninstall both and apply the crack for my previous expansion. Same message.
I download a new rip of Showtime and install that. Same message.
I reinstall Showtime & Katy and install the latest patch again. Same message.

Somehow Showtime and Katy Perry broke the entire game, and now I don't really know what to do. Redownloading and reinstalling 10 expansions/stuff packs seems like some kind of torture. I did not get any messages of the setups being corrupt during installation either, and the rips are confirmed to work by other players. Does anyone have any idea what the heck went wrong and if there is some way I can fix it?

Try this manual patch, even though your game is already up to date.

Yeah, I already tried that one when I tried to reinstall the patch. Didn't work. The game boots, but once it gets past the intro video and splash screen, it just pops up that error and closes the game. The launcher does the same.

Ok, can you open the launcher? Look at the icons at the bottom, are all the ones you installed lit up?

Installation Verification Failure.[SOLVED] Fail

Is what it the launcher looks like. Then it closes once you hit OK. :/ So yeah, they don't lit up or anything.

Hello,

Try as following, please:
*Backup your savegames

1. Completely remove the base game using Your Uninstaller! Pro, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org .
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall the game, following these instructions: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly
4. Test the game and let us know the result.
