Hello,

I am extracting the .exe files with winrar, but I am still getting the error where it talks about Windows Vista and whatnot. Please help!

I have the same install issue.

I downloaded Sims3 Townlife off games4theworld on Pirate Bay. I followed the Installation Guide:


1. Open the 'Sims3SP04Setup.exe' and follow on screen instructions.

However when I clicked on this file I got an error message about Vista Service Pack 1, IE Version 9.(something).

I have Windows 7 so why am I getting a Vista error message?

Hello,

I think you both need to redownload the file that gives you the error, sounds like a corrupt file.
