Sims Medieval Pirates Nobles installer

i have done everything written here (https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t775-the-sims-3-mac-the-integrity-of-the-installer-cannot-be-verified-fix) and in the sims 3 mac guide and it works until i click the installer. all i get is the icon bouncing on the dock. when i click the bouncing icon, it disappears. i don't know why this is happening but i installed the sims medieval perfectly. please help.

How did you open the installer and the .rar file?

I used stuffit expander to open the .rar and then used disk utility to make a .dmg out of the extracted files. opened the installer from the .dmg
