Ultimate fix - service initialization failed (0x024e424f)

Hi

I just downloaded the Ultimate Fix to all of the games it covers, which were all from games4theworld. I followed every step meticulously and went back and double-checked, so I am very certain everything was installed correctly. However none of the launchers will run.

- When I click the default starter icon that appeared automatically, the automatic registration code that is inputted when the launcher prompts you for it won't go through.
- When I tried launching TS3 and TS3SP01, the game will get up to the loading page, but when loading is complete it crashes.
- Launching from TS3W, I get "service initialization failed (0x024e424f)".

I'm sure this is covered somewhere else but I can't find it, so thank you for helping me.

Which expansions do you have, exactly?

The Sims 3:
- base game
- ambitions
- diesel stuff
- fast lane stuff
- generations
- high end loft stuff
- katy perry sweet treats
- late night
- master suite stuff
- outdoor living stuff
- pets (fixed)
- showtime
- town life stuff
- world adventures

Also, the sims 3 base game has 2 files, "The_Sims_3_Disk_1" and "The_Sims_3_StartDisk". I installed the cracks under StartDisk.

When I try to launch TS3W it keeps asking me for a registration code, and I've tried several from online and they won't work. It shouldn't be asking for a code in the first place, according to the installation guide. What now?

Again, I watched the video and have read the PDF and have followed the instructions. If not I wouldn't still be here asking for help.

Your website won't allow me to load pictures.

It's gone back to giving me a "service initialization failed" message if I try to launch from TS3W, and if I go through the regular launcher it tells me to insert the Diesel Stuff disk.

Do you get an error when you start up via the game's launcher?

Game launcher:
"Disc authentication failure: No game disc found! Please insert the Sims 3 Diesel Stuff game disc before proceeding."

TS3W:
"service initialization failed (0x024e424f)"

when i try and attach a pic it keeps telling me "Could not upload file : exceeded total storage space. (Free space : 0)". i don't know what you mean by dots.

When placing the crack into the game install folder, make sure of 3 things:
1. Your crack matches your game version. Current is 1.38, so I suggest you check for updates in the launcher, and if you don't have any, download the Ultimate Fix from this site.
2. The files are going into The Sims 3/Game/Bin/
3. You are ONLY placing TS3W.exe and TSLHost.dll from the #crack/ folder of the Ultimate Fix into the above mentioned location. Individual EP/SP cracks are unecessary.

If you STILL have issues, I have no clue what's messing your game up. And you might wanna make sure that you are using a good game installer. Before I found the G4TW's Showtime, I tried other downloads, which had the installer in the /install/ folder (I was wondering why it was there...), and it crashed my game every time I tried to play. Try uninstalling all EPs and SPs you have, then run the game. The launcher should never ask for a serial code upon startup. It only asks when you install the game.
