Can my PC run Mafia II ?
Hey guys I just came across a game named Mafia II. I saw its gameplay and screenshots and found it damn cool! I just wanted to know that whether it will work in my PC finely without any lags or it won't?
Here are my PC specifications:
AMD Sempron 2.8Ghz,
Windows 7 Ultimate x64,
250GB HDD,
2GB RAM,
AMD 760G on-board graphics (894MB)
Thanks

Re: Can my PC run Mafia II ?
''Finely'' I doubt it. If your GPU supports Shader 3.0 it can run pretty much any game (except the ones with configuration check, like Burnout) but don't expect good performance or graphics... although to be honest there's barely any difference between the lowest and highest settings in Mafia II.
When I first tried Mafia II I had a:
Intel Core i5-661 3.33 GHz (2 cores)
4GB RAM
Forsa GeForce 9400GT 1GB
Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
It ran decently with everything set to minimum and the resolution 1024 x 768. Now I have the same PC but with a few changes:
8GB RAM (2GB x 4)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
It runs perfectly (60 FPS) with everything maxed at 1366 x 768, High PhysX occasionally slows it down for a second or two but nothing major.
That should give you an idea. By the way, 64bit OS with under 4GB of RAM? Not the best choice...
