Hello,

Are you sure the download is safe?
If yes, try temporary turning off your anti-virus and then "Force start" the download again.

Need to fix the security issues with your downloads folder. What I mean by this is that your downloads folder is set up to not allow you to write there. The utorrent forums are plagued with these threads and after fixing the permissions they're all fixed.

Here's one such example: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=126066

Hello,

So the the .rar file finished downloading 100%?
If yes, right-click on the .rar file and choose "Open with...". Choose "WinRAR" from the list to open the file.
Do not use WinZIP or 7-ZIP or any other program, other than WinRAR, which you can download from www.games4theworld.org .

here is what i did so far,

i got winrar, extracted all files into a new folder on my desktop, however, i extracted the sims 3 base into its original folder, i then downloaded daemon tools lite, but now i am stuck at how to mount it...

if i double click it it starts the intsallation process but I get the issue to browse for the "path" like the directions say.

//MOVED
Hello,

First, Mount both images. When the installation asks for Disk 1, click 'Browse' and select one of the two Mounted Images. If you get an error, just click the other image
you Mounted. When the Installation asks for Disk 2, do the same. The Installation should go on now.
If you still don't understand the above, please watch our Installation Video on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dm1i-P4I7bc

okay i finally figured it out after watching the video lol, thanks so much, however now i have another problem...

i wanted to install all expansions and stuff packs except Katy Perry's sweet treats of course since it sucks, but when i extracted everything into the same folder like the directions said, no matter what i try to install, each one says its the installation for 70's 80's 90's stuff. And it won't let me instal unless i let it update which i try to but it doesn't work... i'm sure i can apply that one fix for that and it will be fine, but why does each expansion and stuff pack say its the 70's 80's 90's stuff pack...? How can I fix this without messing up my progress so far lol

Hello,

If you're extracting EP's for install, you'll have to empty the folder first and only have one EP's files in there at the time.
