"game service initialization failed (0x0175dcbb)" I've tried everything: Installing TS3 correctly, Ultimate Fix, etc

Hi guys, a few days ago I bought the retail version of The Sims 3 Deluxe Edition. I began installing the base game and played it as soon as it was done, I opted not to update it straight away because I figured it'd take a while to download. The game ran just fine, no problems. When I was done playing I closed it and decided I'd install ambitions and the latest update, when that was finished I got the "unable to start check the log" message.

I found the guide to installing correctly and the ultimate fix, I bought Supernatural after reading that it was a requirement (I was planning on getting it soon anyways). I followed every step to the letter, I made multiple attempts at this. I then thought it might have been something wrong with the registry so I looked up how to properly remove the keys, did so, then made another attempt at the installation guide + ultimate fix.

I install the base game, update it manually (1.47), then install supernatural and apply the crack. I then try opening the launcher and get the same messages.

I'm just so irritated with this, what with the money I've spent on it and all, is there anything else I can do?

Where did you apply crack?, By The way you could have just downloaded Supernatural from G4TW Piratebay's account

Did you install Ambitions? If yes, if I remember you should install ambitions first then crack it, then install Supernatural.

If you only want to play The Sims 3 and the sims 3 supernatural, you don't need to apply the cracks since you got the retail base game+retail supernatural

Please give more information Like the order on how you downloaded/installed it, Maybe problem with your OS? Where did you apply the cracks (screenshot please )

I forgot to make it clear that way before I bought the retail version (I'm talking months here) I had torrented The Sims 3 "Ultimate Bundle". I cleared those out a few weeks back though, would that present a problem?

Got exactly the same issue. I downloaded every sims 3 on your website, i've followed every step of your fix and nothing resolved it. That's the 3rd time i reinstall it. So if u have any solution please reply...

Edit (01/31/2013) : As i got no answers i'm downloadin the sims 3 base edition from an other website. Apparently after the fourth uninstall, reinstall and many searchs about registry entries, it appears that ur version does not write any registry entry... (by the way i want to thank people who get a "solved" issue and do not say how they dit it (sarcasm) )

When i go to the launcher and ask for updates, it tells me my game is up to date, however a script error pops up and does not let me play.

Thank u very much all of u. I'm so sorry to have been such a "bip", i just was so exhausted about it, and now it works ! It was indeed a registry mistake which was well hidden. Thank u again. This forum rocks !
