Thanks! Appreciate it. One last question before I download.. Do I need to have at least one of the games here so that the Ultimate fix will work? What if I haven't dl'ed anything from here like University will be the first one, while the rest of my eps were from the original discs

~Thank u so much!

Not from my knowledge, I think you just need to have at least one expansion pack installed. Download the Ultimate fix and open the instruction file. It will tell you what expansion packs you will need. If you downloaded University Life and that's your only expansion pack then I think you're good to go. Good Luck!

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply!
Unfortunately we were not able to get back to you in time. I'd like to apologize for that.

Do you still need assistance?

Yes, I'd like to know if I can just unrar it in my 8gb usb flash drive then plug it in and install it through there?

Thanks for still responding!

Hello,

As for your original question: yes, everything will work just fine, as long as you use non-modified installers. (Read: original games, Games4theworld downloads, other non-modified uploads and NOT "Ultimate" or "Complete pack" downloads, as those are usually modified)

The USB method should work, yes, but why would you do that? If you wish to keep the downloads (Which I recommend for future re-installations), keep the .rar file and remove the extracted files. Then extract the .rar file to the PC you'd like to install the game(s) on and start installation.

I hope that clears up. If not, please let us know!

Question... Empty IT WORKED!!!

Post by Guest Mon 25 Mar 2013, 04:17

G4TW IS BOSS!

Sorry for this super late reply, I just wanna say thanks for your assistance! Forget my weird idea of installing from a flash drive and decided put the files to my back-up hard disk drive temporarily, then installed it from there and saved the .rar file back to my flash drive incase of re-installment. THANK YOU~
