Bit miffed

I don't think my computer could handle World Adventures. It kept freezing, lagging and eventually crashing from the moment I tried playing it after downloading.

Scoured the forums, tried everything my technically-inept brain could do, but it still kept going wrong so I had to delete it.

Not had a problem since and I still have Ambitions and Supernatural, but I'll miss running around Egypt and exploring tombs.

*sigh*

I probably need a computer that isn't booted up by lighting its wick or something.

I have gamebooster, but my computer is only 2GB RAM. I swapped with my dad's one as his is 4GB and he very kindly offered the swap as he only uses his for ebay and occasional browsing.

Set it all up, only to discover his graphics card is incompatible and everything on the game looked like I was playing minecraft. So I'm back to my old one now.

I'll get some more RAM when finances allow, hopefully that'll sort out the issues.

What is your budget? Perhaps I could help you find budget RAM and a decent GPU.

I have every EP and every SP EXCEPT WA. I dunno why I was never overly fond of it, but I really enjoyed it on Sims 2!
