Hiya. I'f they aren't working for you I'm not exactly sure why. I tested the file again and they are working for me straight from the rar.

They are .Sims3Pack files so you have to double click each file one at a time. It should automatically start the game launcher and start the install. If it pops up with the error msg saying invalid install or whatever just click on continue. I have noticed that sometimes after doing that the little install widow will minimize and you have to bring it back up and click "ok" in order for it to finish the install. Otherwise it won't be there.

Please tell me if this works for you.

Yes, I know that, but the installation will fail eventually. Do you have legal version of the game or all pirated? What's the latest version of your launcher?

ah well maybae that has something to do with it. I am not a hacker so I am not sure how I can get around them being legal. I have a legal base game and 2 expansions but the rest is from here up to generations. I would love to be able to share these. If you have any idea how I can work this out... maybe there is a way to repackage them?

Here is a new link. I found a program that lets you extract the contents and export the .package files so I extracted those alone and put them in a new rar. I don't know if this will help but please tell me if it does. Smile

Hello,

No, doesn't work. The system doesn't even know with what program to open the .package files. Even if I choose to open it using the The Sims 3 launcher, it doesn't work.

crud. I'm sorry I'm stumped as to how the problem could be fixed. I'm sure there's a way. I just don't know how. Sad I really wanted to share them though. All I know is that inside the sims3pack files there are two parts. The .package and also a .png. I have no idea how to edit anything about either of them except to use the program to extract and export the files individually. Not savvy in that way. lol do you have any further suggestions?

Hello.. I was reading through this thread and was wondering since you have the .package files! I know the link's dead but is it possible to add these .package files in this folder: "C:\Users\[PC Name]\My Documents\Electronic Arts\Mods\Packages"? Does it work?

Modthesims.info has an unpacking program called CCMagic. Unpack, manage and install without ever going near that piece of $%* called Origin.

(Sorry, bought SImCity. Still feel angry)
