Sims 3 Late night download problem.

Hi my name is Nick, and I'm new to gaming. 

I recently downloaded Sims 3 Late Night and installed it, everything worked fine, but when I went to play, it loaded up, but when it went to the loading screen where you pick players/save files/worlds, etc etc.. It said "We can not verify that is a valid sims 3 late night CD, please contact customer support." Or something like that.. and obviously I can't contact them being I did not purchase the game.

Please dumb the things you say down for me.. I'm new, and quite lost on what to do.. Please help, thank you.

Please check you correctly applied the Ultimate Fix and that your game is at the correct version 1.50, otherwise use the Manual Patch.

Can you show me/explain how to fix any of those? I have no clue..

Ok, first hover your mouse over the base game icon at the bottom of the launcher. What are the numbers there? It should be 1.46.xxxx or 1.50.xxxx or 1.55.xxx etc

Then that is the problem. The current Ultimate Fix is for 1.50.
Please wait for the new Ultimate Fix, which will come out soon, and then apply it!

There is no other way I can fix it?

So, very easy! Download the Ultimate Fix (using Chrome is best), then extract it with WinRAR.
Then copy the files in the Crack folder, and put them to your base game installation folder, which usually is C:\Program Files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.
When asked to replace, say yes.
You're good to go!
