Island Paradise Problem :(

So i downloaded IP from here and everything has been working fine until I decided I wanted to stay in a resort. Every time I try my whole game freezes!! Basically, my sim goes through with the command up until she gets to the front desk and bam! it just stays frozen. I've tried with all the resorts on the island and same things happens every time. I even tried removing my mods and CC to see if that may be the problem but nothing changes. please help me because i would love to try the whole experience :/
