The Sims 3 Generations install problem ("stuck"). [SOLVED]

Hi! Sorry for my english, I'm french so maybe you won't understand everything.
I already have the Sims 3 and all the add-ons except Generations, so I tried to download it. At first, when I downloaded it (on another forum), it didn't worked because when I tried to open the install, I got an error message which said "the architecture is not supported" (and I have OS X 10.5.8 & enough space on my computer so it's supposed to work). After that I tried to download it again (not the same) but it did the same thing. Then, I downloaded it with uTorrent (on your website). I made the folder with Stuffit and I opened the installation program which was in it. But when I try to install the game, the installation doesn't "move" (sometimes, when I try to close the install and re-open it, I get a 9 instead of the 6 but it's the same) like that. I let my computer stay on all night but when I woke up it was still like that. I also tried to download it again but nothing changed. I don't know what to do so if anyone could help me I would be really gratefull! Thank you already.

Did you follow the mac expansion installation guide and create a .dmg file for the installer?

Well, I did but I made some mistakes, so I did it again and now it's working!!!! THANK YOU
