Reinstall or patching up?

Let me just describe what I did:
I installed the base game, patched it up to 1.50.56, then installed expansion packs 70s..., Ambitions, Fast Lane, High-End, Late Night, Outdoor.., Seasons, Showtime, Town Life, University and WA in the correct order (as they were released) but found myself having to install the update a few more times due to some expansions demanding it (as if the won't work if I don't do it since my game is up-to-dat-i-er than the expansion).. anyway, than I proceeded to follow the ultimate fix guidelines and still in the end got the unofficial mod/might crash/bugs everywhere message..
I clicked continue and after loading it led me to the welcome screen with no words/letters whatsoever and it didn't respond to anything (I then ctrl-alt-deleted it)
but then,I found out that I used the fix for 1.55 on the 1.50.56 patch     :epicfacepalm

And now, my question is: WHAT THE HELL SHOULD I DO NOW? Reinstall or patch up and reapply the crack or something else entirely?


Edit: I patched the game up to your latest patch and reapplied the final crack (and in the process somehow deinstalled origin:noob:) and now it seems to be working.. slowly.. i'll edit/try to remove the post if it really works

No worries, we're here to help!
So please do the following:
¤ Open the Ultimate Fix, copy files from every folder EXCEPT THE CRACK FOLDER to their respective location
¤ Patch your game to 1.55 (through the Launcher or with the Patch)
¤ Copy the files from the Crack folder of the Ultimate Fix to their respective location.
Then it should be working.
If it lags, we'll try and solve this!

Before I read your post I managed to make it work by only applying the patch and files from the Crack folder.
Should I still do what you said (repeat the whole process of applying fixes)  just to be on the safe side?
