Too late for children to attend party

I wanna throw a birthday party for my Sim kid,
but it won't let me invite any of her friends, cause no matter how early I try to invite them over,
it keeps saying that it's too late for children to attend the party.

What am I doing wrong?

Try on the Weekend at 10am...
