Sims 3 Island Paradise Resort Pool Bug

When i try to make a pool on an uncharted island i cant place fountains on it , secondly i cant delete the whole pool at once i have to delete one tile at a time , i tried placing a fountain in a pool on a resort in main land it worked fine but not in the one on uncharted island help,

I used cheats to unlock all islands at once to see if this is on every island , turns out its not , this problem is on only 4 islands

as i stated this is there for those islands precisely , i did my homework on that , and tried everything on every other premade resorts and on islands , 4 were normal where there was no problems but other 4 with the glitch had some other problems too, like i coud'nt build anything if i placed a particular type of foundation on the ground and some other minor problems which were not there elsewhere
