I started a new resort on an uncharted island my sims had discovered, and it's been nothing but a nightmare. I built a lobby and put my front desk in, and my buffet on the 2nd floor. The problems started with my windows - the ones on the top floor were disappearing. Then all of a sudden one night, all the stuff in the lobby, including the front desk, disappeared. I quit without saving and they came back but it happened again. I'm not sure what to do about this.

Does the same happen if you make a resort on a "normal" island ?

You can probably guess why I asked that question. "Isla Paradiso" seems to have lots of problems, like "routing" issues (where sims get "stuck") and things like your problem. If things "disappear" on uncharted islands, but if that doesn't happen on "normal" ones, then that's most likely an in-game bug, which has to be corrected by a future patch.

Do you think it could possibly be some other issue? Someone else mentioned a "seasonal lot marker" which, I don't know what that is. But when it happened, it was switching over from winter to spring. I didn't notice that until just now.  Could that be the issue? Or something else?  The other resort wasn't entirely made by me, it was the 0 simoleon one that you can renovate, whereas this one was entirely made by me.
