Problem Patching to 1.55 Empty Problem Patching to 1.55

Hello. I'm attempting to install Sims 3 onto my friends computer, I already have it on mine and she already had it on hers but randomly it stopped working. I couldn't get it to work again so I decided to uninstall of the games, clear the registry and files, and install them once again. I own the basegame and all expansions through Generations. I installed those, and then I installed Showtime and University. I applied all of the cracks properly. Then I tried to update it to 1.55 so I could install Island Paradise. But it said installed version of the application could not be determined or something along the lines that. I even tried using the manual patch instead of using the launcher patch but nothing happened.

Hello,


Have you tried downloading the manual patch with another web browser?

Hello,

Go to "Piratebay" and type into the search prompt something like "Sims 3 patch 1.55"; you should then find the torrent download version of the patch (I'm not allowed to post direct links to Piratebay, but you should be able to find it).
