Hi im having the same problem as Nemesis on Sun Jul 03, 2011 7:14, the solution was not posted and i need help!!!

Hi, have you tried to uninstall everything and then install the sims 3 base game? It gives you an option to download the EA Manager, you should install it.
If the EA Manager still not works, try and download it here:

Hello,
You don't have to reinstall the base game to install ea downloadmanager. You're going to need it to update your game though, the link from Aedv is good, so if you don't have it, by all means, download and install it. Also make sure to unblock it in your firewall.
If you're still having problems, please check back later today, Admin or another mod can sort this out for you.
