Limited Social Interactions (Using NO CC/Downloads)

Hello,

It appears that my game is absolutely refusing to allow any of my sims to interact with one another. The only things they can do are:

Friendly...
>Give Gift
>Pillow Fight

Or

Mean...
>Scare

Incidentally, even if I choose to select those interactions, the little square that pops up in the upper left corner to execute the command, disappears after less than a second of being up there awaiting the sim to take that action. This effectively prevents my sims from interacting with one another entirely.

I have searched through this forum and other places on the internet to fix my problem. I have found no solutions yet.

The things I have tried to fix this issue are:

-Resetting my sims
-Completely uninstalling and re-installing my base game and ALL of my expansions
-Deleting all Cache files and starting a different game with a pre-made sim family (prior to and after my re-installation)
-Deleting all Cache files and starting a different game with sims created from scratch (prior to and after my re-installation)
-Using the Ultimate Fix, deleting any cache files, starting a new game

***I do not have any CC or Downloads installed into my game.***

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Additional Information:

I read and followed proper steps to install ALL games/expansions.

What I was doing prior to the problem was "nothing". I was merely playing the game and eventually found there were limited interactions.

My operating system is Windows 7.

Indeed I do know this *usually* means there is a conflict with CC. I read up on this thoroughly.


If you need further proof of my problem, I will post images to show.

Hmn, this is perhaps my language error. I refer to Mods and CC as the same at times~  In either case I have none.

Indeed I downloaded Patch 1.57, and installed it according to the instructions listed for it to work properly (meaning, removing mods/CC/disabling downloads from the launcher).

Note, I do HAVE Mods and CC, but I removed all of them prior to my re-install of all the games/expansions and subsequent patch update. As you noted they are no longer located in the folder per the screenshot.

Yes I am familiar with installing mods~  I have not used ErrorTrap (are you referring to the NRAAS mod?) before.
