Well here goes nothing or everything, I'm looking for a program or maybe a MOD that could convert real house blueprints into Sims houses. I'd love to be able to Upload some of the places that I've lived growing up to use and share with others, if it is possible. Please PM if you know of a link or post up google search hints in this thread. Thanks in advance

I'm not entirely sure if this would be a practical idea. Unless you were using a specific program to create the blueprints it would be hard to convert a drawing into a Sims house. It would be like asking for software to convert a clothes drawing into Sims clothes.

I don't know if you need any tips about building from blueprints but this is what I do. The rule of measurement I've found online is, one square in the Sims is about 3 feet in real life. I usually keep the blueprint in front of me (you can sketch it down on paper or print it out) and play around with the view settings so I can see the lot from high up like a real blueprint, and from closer on to see what it looks like in the game. Then I build. I usually start by doing one room that works as a size and location reference and then add the next one and the one next to that. I find that works best because sometimes you need to make rooms bigger to make them look better in the game and if you do one by one it's easier to correct mistakes.

that is more of what I was looking for a scale more than a blueprint converter. I can manually or mentally convert the dimensions thanks a bunch
