Hello,

Yes, every expansion that you download basically "adds" new stuff to your game: for example, new towns, new furniture, clothing, hairstyles, interactions, and much more. There is no special way of "starting an expansion pack". Wink  Just start your game as usual, and you can enjoy the new features.

If you start your game as usual, you should normally find the options to "create" pets where (before) the "Create-a-sim" stuff was - now you have more functions added to this menu, basically.

While I haven't played too much with Pets, there are many (social) interactions available for pets. So, if you have a cat/dog or any other pet added to your sim family, then there will be a "symbol" of the pet on the left-hand side in the game, just like with any other sim. So if you just click on that symbol, you can control the pet - like a sim.
