Modern Warfare 2 vs Bad Company 2 Empty Modern Warfare 2 vs Bad Company 2

Hi there,

I was wondering; everyone's opinion is different about this, but, which game do you guys think is better and why?
I've always been into Call of Duty games. Though, yesterday I bought Bad Company 2 (Steam sale -50% - probably propaganda for their Battlefield 3 game), but haven't played it yet.
I'm especially curious why people think the multiplayer is better?

All opinions are welcome!

The reason some people like the Battlefield series better is because of its unique gameplay dynamics, introducing a more realistic gameplay, for example, sniping takes much more skill and if you play like a true sniper would be shooting at realistic distances. Also, vehicles are a popular feature of battlefield games that COD does not offer in multiplayer. I myself quite enjoy flying around in the apache and getting points for the kills that my friend in the gunner seat gets. Also, the maps are huge, though quite smaller than they were in Battlefield 2, though I expect the maps will be much larger than they are in Bad Company 2 when Battlefield 3 is released.

Now for COD. People who prefer COD like fast paced action where it may only take a few seconds to find the enemy, smaller maps, no vehicles, customizable characters and etc. In regards to weapons, loadout editing is not much different, except in COD you can create unique classes from scratch rather than be limited to just five classes in battlefield series. I don't have too much else to say about COD to be honest.

I've played both series and I enjoy both, however, BlackOps was the second game I bought for COD and may be the last if thats the kind of direction they are going to take with COD. I loved MW2, and if I do per chance happen to buy MW3 then hopefully its better than MW2. I do intend to buy Battlefield 3 too though. BF3 reintroduces Jets that were not introduced in any game since BF2, meaning the scale of the maps is going to be quite large to provided enough flight space for jets on particular maps.

FIN!

Hi there,

Thank you for your good opinion.
I have been playing BC2 for like an hour today, but I don't like the aim. I can't steady aim at all, which I was used to in MW2.
I guess I'll have to get used to it?

Ps. I've also been playing MP a little bit, but how to choose the heli / tank class?
