Mass Effect 3 Win8

Hi! First off... Sorry I'm such an idiot. Just wanted to get that out there. I downloaded ME3 off of Pirate bay and did the map fix to get the game to work. However, it still brings up the launcher and asks for me to verify the key. Is that normal? I'm running win8 (... because it came with the computer) and I'm not quite sure what to do. I've been at this for hours and sometimes I make things a bit harder than they should be. Would anyone be willing to help? You will have my eternal gratitude.

Hello there,

If AVG marked it as a trojan, the file was probably "cleaned", meaning it was made corrupt. Please temporary disable AVG and then re-apply the Map Fix. After that, add the .exe file to AVG's exception list and then test the game.
