Error with Sims 3 Update Empty Error with Sims 3 Update

When I try to install the Sims 3 World Adventures it prompts me to update the game...when I click ok it gives me this error Message....
"Error With Sims 3 Update. Update is unable to continue.

Take your time to read the following thread:

You should at first update with the method in step #2 (manual patch). And then you install at least one of the expansions mentioned in step #1. 

The next step is that you then re-do step #2 (re-apply manual patch) and then go on with steps #3 and #4. Good luck, and let me know about your progress ! Smile
