The Sims 3 invalid activation code? [SOLVED]

I finished downloading The Sims 3, following the instruction.txt that came with it. When I run the game, the launcher pops up and I press the play button. A few seconds later a small box pops up, saying that I have to enter the registration/activation code. I did and it says that it was invalid. What do I do? I really want to play this game.

Hi,

You forgot to replace the original Game '.exe' with the Cracked one. Do the following to fix this problem:

Open the '# Crack' file in the .rar you Downloaded and copy + paste the 'TS3.exe' to the 'Game Directory > Game > Bin'; standard this will be: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and REPLACE it by the existing one. The Game should work now.

Thank you! Now I have a new problem. Whenever I press the play button, it just closes, and it doesn't launch the Sims 3.
I saw the topic that said that I have to install The Sims 3 Ambitions, so I am now.

Well, On the second part of the copy and pasting the crack, I copied TS3EP02 in the # Crack 2 folder but I went to the bin and I couldn't find the existing one.
