Tried downloading/installing 3 SPs HELP

I use a mac, and I used bittorrent to download three stuff packs:
master suite
outdoor living
and 
high end loft

I waited for the download and unzipped everything, every time I click on the application icon to run the setup, It starts to pop up, but doesn't.
Happens every time. Did I do something wrong??
Frustrated.

Just to cover my bases YES all my permissions are set to open applications from the internet etc.

I have not used a stuff pack yet, but I do believe that you need to create a .dmg file before installing it on your mac. Have you tried that?

Do read Part 2.

That is because you have to convert the file to a mac-friendly version.
