Please help me!

Sorry if I've done this wrong, I'm new to the forums and couldn't find anything related to my issue. It's a problem I've had before, I just uninstalled everything and reinstalled to make it go away. Now, months later I've encountered the same issue! I have a Sim that I created, that keeps popping up as a different Sim throughout the neighborhood. To sum it up, it's pretty much a skin of my Sim, not my exact Sim. The "imposters" have different names, but look exactly like my Sim! I'm pulling my hair out because of this! I delete one, and then three more pop up! It's like that stupid creature from Hercules or something!

Try this: go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/ and rename the folder "The Sims 3" into anything you like (just change the folder's name).

Upon re-starting the game, you will realize that your old saves and any mods/CC are - temporarily - gone. Please start a fresh savegame for now, and "start over". Create a sim and see if the issue persists.

P.S. if it doesn't happen again, then we might slowly start putting back your old stuff, but first things first - do the solution I just described.
