Please help...!!! I am new...!!! Empty Please help...!!! I am new...!!!

Recently I downloaded sims 3 torrent (Razor1991). The game works perfectly. But when I tried to mod it, nothing happened.
I did everything all-right. It seems to me that the reason is that my sims 3 version is too old ( 1.0.632.00002) and I need to update it.
When I open the launcher, it asks me to update, but I dont know if it will work.
Will my mods work if I download super patch for sims 3 ? Some people say that the game asks for some serial key !!!
Please help...  Help

I would strongly recommend to patch to the latest available version, due to all the improvements the new patch brings along. About that mod, I am unsure; you might need to look if there's a version of that mod that has been updated to work with the latest 1.67 version (of the Sims 3 base game).

Also, you'd need a new crack too, then.

I'd suggest you now look at this topic here, very carefully:

Patch your game with the superpatch (step #2). Then download and install at least one of the expansions mentioned in step #1 ! You can get all games from here:

After you have done that, re-apply the manual patch, and then do the steps #3 and #4 (download + apply the "Ultimate fix"). Good luck and post back if I should elaborate more on something; but that should be pretty straightforward.
