hi,
ive been playing the sims since the beginning, i remember playing a sim named michel on the first one and getting a notice telling me i had been playing the same sim for 365 sim days.
i also discovered the motives refilling cheat/method of using 'move_objects on' to delete your character and and clicking on their portrait to respawn them... considering i did it completely by accident while getting rid of some trash i freaked out thoroughly until i wondered what the little red cross on the picture meant and clicked it to find what became my favorite cheat (i had a bit of an addiction to maxing out all of my sims skills and it was very helpful with that)

anyhow, slightly more back on track i found this site because a while back something embarrassing happened that ended in my computer no longer having the ability to read/write disks, so after a few months of living a sad simless existence i stumbled upon Games4theworld and my life is now whole again... ok, overacting aside, im really glad i found this place and am happy to meet all of you

I myself have always been an avid Simmer ever since the original Sims came out. I've become bored with cheats though, there's no challenge in that.
I hope you enjoy your stay here, if you ever run into problems with your game, Admin and the mods are happy to help out and there's always time to talk about the game.

im only 22, this was in my early teens... i've developed significantly as a gamer in the intervening decade... i agree that there is much more fulfillment to be had in accomplishing your goals the hard way.

If your optical drive doesn't work any more, I recommend you replace it. An optical drive isn't very expensive. I bought a normal/good one for €25,- for my new system. (Internal)

I used to be a cheater as well when I was younger. And it took me a long time to learn there's more challenge in trying things the hard way. Ah yes but that was also a different time I did everything the easy way.
