Hello again,
There isn't much behind re-installing Windows on a computer, actually. First, make sure to backup all your important data from the computer, if you haven't done so yet.
Next, do you have a CD from the computer manufacturer with all your drivers ? Or sometimes, the manufacturer also puts the driver installation files somewhere into your hard-drive. In case of that, please back up those drivers too.
Alternatively, if you get into problems with drivers later on, name the manufacturer and model name of your computer, so that we can google for drivers. Or you can do it on your own, too. Later on, when you have Windows installed, you can then install the drivers, either with the CD or with the backup you made.
As for the installation of Windows, insert the Windows 7 DVD, and then (!) turn off the computer. Depending on your computer/motherboard, you must either press and hold DELETE or F12, while the computer is turned off. Really, hold the key, and while you are holding the key, power the computer back on, still holding the key. Wait a little while, and you will enter the BIOS. Note that you need to figure out on how to enter the BIOS on your computer; it's possible that you even have to press another button than DELETE or F12, so in case of doubt, google for that or look into your computer handbook (if there is something like that).
In the BIOS you need to look for an option to "boot from CD/DVD drive". And you need to save the settings in the BIOS. After which the computer will re-boot again, and then shortly after, the installation of Windows 7 will start...
I get that this might sound a bit difficult, but playing around with VirtualBox will not really help you to "learn". I'm not sure why you are getting a prompt to "install drivers" in VirtualBox. I once even installed Mac OS X on VirtualBox, and I never got a prompt like that...everything went smooth for me (note that "officially", VirtualBox doesn't even support the installation of Mac OS on the virtual machines !).
If this is still too difficult for you, try asking someone (in real-life) who you can trust to do the thing right. So if you go to a computer shop, ask for a CLEAN Windows re-install.
Good luck.

If you really want to "learn", I guess the best method would be to do this on a real computer (friend or family member), where you can "practice" a bit.
What I wrote above can/should be enough for most normal purposes.
I still don't think that playing around with VirtualBox will help you "learn" that much, but OK, if you find it helpful, go ahead with that. As for me personally, I couldn't do that, but of course, that doesn't have to mean anything.
Good luck again.

I just re-installed Windows 7 myself on my desktop computer. And I didn't have any drivers either. I basically googled for all the drivers on the internet (WLAN, soundcard, LAN, etc.) and put the drivers on a USB flashdrive. I plugged the USB flashdrive into my desktop computer then, and installed all the drivers, smoothly.
Normally, you shouldn't get that message in a real computer, but then, that may depend on your computer model.
I think I mentioned it several times already: if you can't do it on your own, ask someone else for more help (computer shop, etc.).

Hi,
In order to do a "Clean" installation, just do the normal Windows installation - booting from the Windows DVD - and choose "Custom" installation, instead of "Upgrade".
You'll get to the part where you can choose on which partition you want to install Windows. Select all your drives and "Delete" them one by one. This will remove ALL your data/partitions - EVERYTHING.
After that, you can create a few partitions, if you like. Finally click on the partition on which you want to install Windows, and choose "Next".
