"The Dynamic Library 'rld.dll' failed to load Empty "The Dynamic Library 'rld.dll' failed to load

Hello!
Upon opening the sims 4 I'm getting this weird error. I have uninstalled and re installed the Sims 4, and it is installed using the Games4TheWorld version, and I have tried installing the latest ultimate fix. No matter what I seem to do, I'm always getting the same error when I try to open the game:
"The Dynamic Library 'rld.dll' failed to load Fatale11
I have no idea how on earth to fix this so any help would be amazing! Thank you!

Gonna ride on this post cos I have the same problem. I've added it to the list of apps allowed under Firewall settings (though I could only add C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Electronic Arts\TheSims4\Game\Bin\TS4 instead of all the folders) so not sure what part went wrong!

I have the exact same problem, I've alredy added the files to the exception list and copied the fix again and it still not working  Why God. Why God. Why God. Why God.

did you guys download both the vcredist_x64 and vcredist_x84? that usually solves the problem

download? I did install it after navigating to the vcredist and even repaired it. it doesn't resolve the problem

Hello and sorry for the late reply,


Can you add the location of your internet browser download (Firefox/Chrome) to the exclusions of your anti-virus software (too) ? This is important. And then please re-download the latest Ultimate fix here, and apply it according to the included instructions:
