THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! ...NOW WHAT??

I am on a late 2011 macbook pro, and have just downloaded the sims 3 complete collection here (thank you, thank you, thank you again!!). But the installation directions are for windows.  Will you please help me to figure out how to install the EP's and SP's I want on my mac?  I already have the base game and a few EP's and SP's installed from origin.

YOU MUST EXTRACT WITH STUFFIT EXPANDER.
Look at the mac installation guide. It's basically the same method as created the .dmg in disk utility. YouMUST  install each expansion in RELEASE ORDER!!

 I download this file myself and install the program myself, and it works!
Here's my mini guide/tutorial installing the Base Game!

1. After download you MUST open with Stuffit Expander
2. After extracting all the file, make a .dmg file with disk utility
   a. more info how go to here "CLICK HERE" <- scroll down to the bottom
3. Install Sims 3  
   a. serial key inside the "Installation Guide"
4. Download Manual Patch
5. Click on the Manual Patch and it does it for you.
6. Done! You can play the sims 3 base game!

If you want to install the expansion, follow the guide"CLICK HERE" . It is basically the same process I have provided, but you do not need to use the manual patch, instead you need to replace the files from the #Crack Folder to the base game.

!! When you install the EP make sure you INSTALL IN RELEASE ORDER! If you do know you can go here

thank you so much for your speedy reply.  I really appreciate your help.  I found the answer after I posted this, but i still appreciate that you were willing to help.  Now...what do I do if I didn't install it in release order? *hangs head in shame*

I would start over...I had some serious issues when I installed the first time and did not follow the release order.
