Cities XXL - A Huge Rip Off - Don't Buy it!

Hello there!
I have seen the reviews for Cities XXL, which was supposed to be a new game of the Cities XL series, but it's just the exact same game with a change of colors on the interface, as far I have read. People are really crazy and want their money back. Don't buy the game before reading reviews first!

Such a shame, I was expecting a new nice city building game...

I find the "PC Games" section is a little bit better suited for this post than the "Game reviews" section.
That said, I played a little bit with "Cities XL Platinum", but beyond that I can't say more about this franchise. But I might check out that game (as soon as there is a pirated version of it; if there isn't already).

Thanks! I was actually in doubt between the two categories, thanks for moving it to the right one.
Glad you like it, it seems the "new" game is the old one with tiny fixes and a change of colors in the UI. I didn't try it either. Played both original & platinum, and I actually started playing it since the Alpha version and they gave me a license for winning a contest, the city with most executives, even without knowing there was one, really funny history...
It was really cool to play it on line (planet mode), but only few people actually paid for the subscription, then they closed the servers and let us play only on single player mode.
The concept of the game is really good, the performance and variety of items could be a bit better, but it's really sad when they offer you a little fix for a game you already have for 50% of the price of an original licence, since updates like that should come for free and happen more often.
I guess they wanted to sell more, so they change the name, a couple of colors, add a couple of buildings and call it a new game
There's another city planning game coming soon that promises a lot, we'll see the truth when the time comes...
