Generations Install issue: "The Sims 3 not found" Empty Generations Install issue: "The Sims 3 not found"

I was attempting to install the Generations EP, but when i start the installation process, it says that the sims 3 was not found. The only problem is, I already have it installed. Im wondering if it being installed on Steam could be the problem. Any ideas?

Indeed, you cannot "mix" Steam games with our pirated releases. You should un-install that Steam version and then use our pirated game, here:
