Really confused?! Empty Really confused?!

Post by Guest Fri 06 Mar 2015, 19:02

I had a fully working sims 4 game after following all the instructions and haven't played it for about a week and now it's suddenly coming up saying 'Can't start cause Origin isn't playing' I have never had origin installed and it worked perfectly well, I see other people have this too....so uninstalled it, did everything again and I'm still getting the origin comment....I'm just confused as to what is actually happening?!

Thanks all

Hello again,

I remember actually doing a TeamViewer session with you, and I fixed the issue ? And if I recall correctly, your anti-virus program could not take individual folder exceptions, so I had to turn it off completely.

Some people have also hinted that it might have to do with Windows 8, but I'm not sure about that.

For now, please make sure (again) to re-read this here:

That's the best thing I can suggest for now - good luck again !

You can trust me, that I'm very sure and serious about the stuff I'm suggesting to people here. Smile  And I stick to my previous suggestion:

Even if your error message is different, please still do ALL the suggestions from the topic I linked to, before

It's almost certain that your "security" software is messing with the crack (Ultimate fix) or even the game itself. You really need to make sure that your software isn't messing with The Sims 4.

Moreover, I'm almost sure you're having all these problems now because of your pre-installed anti-virus program, which I couldn't really configure last time in TeamViewer. So I had to "temporarily turn it off". Which is nothing more than a temporary fix.

You may need to re-download the Ultimate fix, and possibly even the game too, after you configured everything correctly. Sure, it's quite an effort to do all of the stuff from the link I posted before. But in the long run, you will save yourself lots of nerves and time. I myself did all of this, long before I even downloaded TS4 and the Ultimate fix. It didn't even take me that long to do that...and until now, I never got an issue with the game or the fix.

Good luck again, and if the need arises, I'll try and help you again via TeamViewer. Smile  Preferably on weekends, though.
