Town Life Won't show in Launcher. [SOLVED]

My game won't update to 1.24 patch but I think it's because the launcher is acting like i don't have town stuff installed. The icon isn't light up like it normally would be. I installed everything except the outdoor living stuff and ambitions then i applied the items for each game. Then I get the ultimate fix and do 1-11 but I'm stuck on part 12. I didn't download the base game nor the world adventures or the late night expansion so do i still apply the items in the ultimate fix? Am i going to have re install everything?Oh, also i did like the directions said only applying the files to the game bin of the base game for town life and generations. I have a feeling I messed up on applying the items to each individual games then doing the ultimate fix when i should have just waited for the ultimate fix items.

how do i delete the one i misplaced? how do i know if I misplaced, I never put the wrong files there but if i did how do i delete the ones that are wrong?
also there are files in the computer for town life and generations. Also from my control panel it shows it as a program that can be uninstalled.

it still didn't work. I uninstalled everything. INstalled base game, installed generations, installed town life, installed world adventures, installed high end loft, ambitions, fast lane stuff, late night. without putting any cracks. Then i got the fix did every step. I did not put files in the generation or town life, i put them in the base game folder. I go to step 12 doesn't work invalid file found. The town life still doesn't show up in the launcher. I really don't understand what I'm doing wrong can i just play without the update?

I finally got it to work by looking at another thread and did the update manually through some link. So its finally working. Thanks for your help!
