Can I bring previous maid back or set any sim as my maid?

The game did change the maid that was working in my house without asking and I like this maid so how can I bring her back?
I have her in my contacts, I can invite her etc... but how can I affect her or any sim in general as maid npc? I would prefer not to create her all over again how can I make the sim with the actual profile as maid again? I have nraas master controller and debug enabler but I dont seem to find a way to control the maid that is affected to my household.

I never used a maid in my own Sims 3 game, but when it comes to (just) cleaning and cooking, genies can be very useful. So you could consider turning one of your sims into a genie. If you don't like the default blue skintone, you can do it like me and actually make the skin color look normal, by editing the sim in CAS - that way the sim will look like any other sim.

I'm not sure if fairies and/or witches can do the same; though I recall one of my witches cleaning up once - with her magic powers. But out of convenience, I mostly use my genies for these things. Very Happy

Genies can easily clean up the whole lot in an instance, by right-clicking on the floor and selecting the appropriate option. Genies can also "summon" food by magic, very easily and quickly.

Beyond that, I can't help with "real" maids, sorry. WhatDidUJustCallMe?

You could try Twallan's Master Controller mod; it allows you to assign jobs to sims or block specific jobs from their options. It will also display what sims have what jobs (so you could see how many maids are in your town), and you can "fire" anyone from any job.

Maids need to be paid, unlike genies. And while you can cheat yourself as much money as you like, I'd still prefer genies - for the sake of simplicity and convenience.
